The Logan and Abby Fund is a not for profit group consisting of volunteers who give of their time, ability, and even their homes to help place coatis where they will be well cared for and loved. Our main goals are the protection of coatis already here, the prevention of further over breeding, and the education of any coati owner who requests it.
The birth of the Logan and Abby Fund came in response to the need to establish an organization in all states to find good homes for coatis that are abandoned, lost or mistreated, unwanted, and needed to be given up due to unforeseen circumstances. We also help, in extreme emergencies, those who have to give up their coatis. We feel that the responsibility of coatis must rest with those who know and love the species. The Logan and Abby Fund is made up of individuals, some of them current or former breeders, who have years of experience with this species and understand the needs of coatis.
